hi, i've bought new hp dm4 (ati radeon 5450 switchable graphics) , have been trying install karmic on no avail. boot ubuntu dvd choose install ubuntu. screen goes blank indefinitely after that. it's not brightness issue body reported here. tried press brightness key , can see light radiating backlight. help? thank you. when start 4k movie in vlc tells me: video output acceleration driver not support required resolution: 4096x1706 pixels. maximum supported resolution 2048x1706. video output acceleration disabled. however, rendering videos overly large resolution may cause severe performance degration. can somehow fix this? maybe increase output resolution somehow? downloaded 4k movies here: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_lis...f9e09ecec8f88f thanks, sb as message says, down video driver, card using , driver running?
