i got new computer , installed lr3 (windows 7, 64 bit) , can't copy files, 1 or group, gives me stupid can't copy files error.  uninstalled , reinstalled still not working.  ideas? not sure you're trying copy files to, lightroom not support copying of files. can copy , paste settings , metadata between files, not files themselves.   if can provide more info on you're trying might can achieved other way. i have managed whole lot of stuff working on old junk laptop. ubuntu 10.04 incredible in terms of graphics. have weird skydome issue. b4 got 3d animated skydome working, had gradient colors set high. cant rid of them , though can see 3d image, can see through original gradient colors selected. ideas how fix this? fattyz oops, if shut off deformation , reflection, colors clear , see image correctly. i have large number of students using adobe premier elements , media cache folder located in documents folder. issue documents folder being redirected server share. there way redirect folder profile (which not being redirected) using script or registry entry? its not feasible cant students change preferences within elements everytime login , cant keep deleting media cache files manually.   the client pc's windows xp.   thanks have tried going preferences (under edit menu), selecting media cache page , using browse set new location? when use clipping mask, want preserve @ least fill , stroke of container object. freehand did this. cool if adobe analyzed freehand did better illustrator.   as is, i'm forced either recolor container object, or make copy of juts contain second shape, adds layer clutter, , has disadvantage of getting in way of primary shape. another complaint clipping masks: want able select them point of area. happens if put shape inside another, can select clipping mask if click on contained shape, or on container's borders or center. if have blank space inside, can't select or drag whole thing clicking on it.   hope wasn't confusing.
