Data Binding crashing FileInfo Panel (FB4)

i've posted problems data binding repeater array inside custom fileinfo panel published flash builder 4 use in illustrator cs4. realize problem isn't repeater, data binding.

 

using simple <xmpcombo/> box inside <fi:xmpform>, if use dataprovide="{arrayname}", addition of curly braces crashes panel in illustrator. flash builder 4, there set of declarations tags missing when creating xmp fileinfo panel script.

 

is source of problem i'm using sdk new? can fb4 emulate fb3? sort of data binding used work fb3.

the basic code inside script tags:

 

import mx.collections.arraycollection;

[bindable] public var listarray:array = new array ([1,2,3]);

 

 

the basic code combo box inside xmpform tags:

 

<fl:xmpcombobox id="list" dataprovider = "{listarray}" />

i have been able start new project in flash builder 4 using xmp custom panel wizard. selecting flex 3.5 sdk rather 4.0 in setup of project, have been able restore proper binding between array defined in <mx:script/> , dataprovider <mx:repeater/> or <mx:combobox/>

 

since i'm new flex in past 6 months, , barely scraped surface flex builder 3.0 before flash builder 4.0 released, i'm not sure how new features of fb4 , new ways of doing things impact creation of custom fileinfo panels using fb4. know basic functionality of binding array dataprovider inside fileinfo panel has been broken 4.0 sdk, point of crashing other functioning panel definitions installed.

 

i'd know if functionality abandoned on purpose, sake of newer better way of doing things. me learn!
