hi,   i have problems flattening layers. i'll show simplified 2 layers.you can download psd-file(22mb) here: http://www.creativ-fotografie.de/files/flatten_layer_prob.psd . one layer nice , soft vignetting (darkening corners) in blend mode "vivid light". the other layer lots of blue ones , zeros on black background representing binary code. when flattening image, vignetting disappears partly , have sharp circular shape. similar effects happen different blend modes. seems me effect appears complex structures , high resolutions. i realized problem, when save image jpeg.   any ideas? martin i experimented psd file , can't different result.  don't know why merging/flattening causes gradient effect go away.  here workaround, applying gradient directly onto layer 3:   juergen More discussions in Photoshop Elements adobe

i cant access admin login page on locally hosted joomla site. go http://localhost/administrator page , dns error - server cannot found. it working getting ‘unable open configuration.php' when tried change global settings. went webroot folder , right clicked configuration.php file , unchecked read check box in attributes. cant access login page can still see home page. i've tried changing still nothing. any ideas appreciated. i'm using iis i think if install joomla in localhost root may cause problem. i advise install joomla in different folder, ...localhost/joomla/installedhere. what used installed joomla, xampp or wampp or ? i'm running windows 7 on hp g60-635dx. using firefox 3.5.8 , lastest version of flash. have built-in camera wasn't quality prefer. bought 2 different cams , problem same on both. last cam ms lifecam hd-5000. camera functions fine locally , skype, etc. there websites rather not mention, camera doesn't engage. going through settings, preview activates after exiting setup, camera fails engage. tried re-installing sofware drivers no luck. network settings affect activation of camera? ideas? i'm running win xp sp3 on pretty decent system. every often, fw cs5 crash without warning. there seems no pattern crashes. can using select tool, applying filter, or choosing tool palette. system pauses second, , fireworks disappears. no error message. nothing.   i save pretty often, since fw doesn't auto-backups, lose few minutes of work if haven't saved recently. since upgrading cs5 i've lost 5-10 hours of work total. 10 minutes here , there adds up. know. whaaa. fault not saving every time perform action. or it? saving large file every 30 seconds can time-consuming, , disrupts workflow. illustrator doesn't this, , indesign doesn't it. (in fact, can't remember illustrator crashing several versions now.)   is there patch yet fw cs5? can't find one. there log somewhere crashes recorded? nothing shows in xp event viewer.   i still have fireworks mx 2004 installed on machine, , use half time. maybe should uninstall cs5 , use old macromedia version time. cs

my site done have couple of problems have no idea how fix before can finish it. whenever pull url site, has word news right above pulling url in adddress bar. news set default when created front page of site if remove 'news' default gives me error message. the other problem have found when type name of site along .com after it, pulls name correct url words chat room follow name of site , have no idea how got attached don't know how remove , shouldn't www gone when site goes online or stay there. first site doing on own want make sure have worked out before goes online Board index Joomla!
