while in ubuntu:

clicked "safely remove device" on external hard drive restarted computer. removed lamp doing:

tasksel remove lamp-server

while in windows 7:

went on added videos windows partition external hard drive restarted (without clicking "safely remove device" on external hard drive).

here's when problems started

after restarting computer , getting grub bootloader, selected ubuntu load. got result:

so, there can cli (command line interface) restore gui or have (for third effing time) make full re-install , download 200+ mb of stuff update manager?

don't know how stuff , don't know do. don't mean keep bugging all of time minor problems somehow manage cause, yet can't fix because i'm still learning.

quick question: have tried logging in command line?
