Template error in html.php file - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hey,
i still new joomla . installed template fine have error.
when on main menu in admin side of website following error:

i have errors when preview template. guess thee issue minor thing. didn't touch html.php file not sure issue is.
would glad have help.

the symptoms point usage of php 5.3.0.

i believe may using xampp 1.7.2 contains php 5.3.0. @ present joomla! not certified work php 5.3.0. have use lesser version of php (e.g., php 5.2.9). so, uninstall current version of 1.7.2.

download xampp 1.7.1 http://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/files/ , install it. should solve problem.

alternatively, try test patch use joomla php 5.3:
