Thread: USB hard drive disappears

i have added lacie usb hard drive desktop running karmic.

can list ls -l /dev/disk/by-uuid, , mount uuid, , shortly afterwards disappears totally. after unmount can't see drive while, , pops in again, below:

i have tried adding fstab, doesn't show @ all.

it's formatted ntfs make difference. , there 2 partitions on it, hence both sdc4 , sdc3 in list above.
