Localhost address - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

am still creating site, using wampserver.

however have noticed homepage @ address:
http://localhost/
instead of
http://localhost/mypage

as on other websites.

will cause problems? how switch it?

it depends on how have set configuration file httpd.conf and/or virtual host configuration file in c:\wamp\apache2\conf\extra. if testing , developing, can add dummy domain hosts file in both server , workstation , access virtual host through url in format http://www.example.com instead of using localhost.
