Workflow for Color and Effects

hey guys, weather we're having here on internet.

i've been going , forth premier , after effects mfx files captured. workflow @ least cumbersome.

. edited video

. sort clips in project window times used.

. right click reveal in bridge

. import mfx file after effects. create new comps each file , color correct & or add effects

. import comps media encoder batch export p2 movies , rename output files match original mxf files, place in folder titled      'corrected'.

. make original mxf files offline , link correct ones(the .mxf files not named applied in output file field makes linking a   pain).

 

i'm pretty sure there must better way, video 4mins long added effects why didn't import enter sequence ae.

btw i'm more used 'color' workflow in final cut studio.

i'm afraid unless start working in premiere pro can make use of dynamic link there no better way. might of course consider doing work in intermediate codec prores begin @ least skip conversions, in overall scheme of things still clunky...
