Thread: udevd-work[XXX] open /dev/null failed: No such file or dir

hi,

i've been having error on month now. when boot ubuntu 10.04
code:
udevd-work[304] open /dev/null failed: no such file or directory
, stops 30s. i've check dir exists , readable-writeable (chmod 666).

few days ago had problem sound - there wasn't any, , couldn't restart laptop. after rebooting hard way (holding power button) fine.

i've posted same issue on polish ubuntu forum month ago. either nobody knows what's going on, or i've posted in wrong section. anyway, please help.
