i printed out 2 different indesign documents last week ailing epson r260 inkjet printer , printed fine (with exception of printer head problems r260).   i purchased , installed new epson artisan 50 (which supposedly successor r260) today, , when print out same documents images , text reduced in size 1/3 , part of page not printing. have made no changes indesign files don't understand why having problem. hope can help. from id's print dialog, have entered artisan's advanced features (the setup button @ botton of print dialog). doc calling info last printers features. also, drivers on cd old, check driver updates manufactures site when installing anything. hi, new ubuntu, love , installing of computers maintain. on acer inspired 1 laptop, had installed win 7 , later installed ubuntu netbook 10.4. after installing boot manager, wanted shorten display time 10 1 or 0 seconds. thinking @ 0 sec. may need hit key , boot manager respond. if no key input, bm continue win 7. but!!! , doesn't respond , cannot enter ubuntu. s**ks real bad! -i have ubuntu install usb, used boot , change grub2 file, of course no permission! -downloaded easybcd, installed in win 7, success. can me?, want enter ubuntu, there no boot menu (because display time = "0" sec.). sizomu. i have been having trouble resetting "display errors" setting off red on. know issue has been dealt before have read , tried follow suggestions on earlier posting. have tried changing php settings, , htaccess settings, still have glaring red on. can please me resolve this. newby this. thanks. don have tried deleting browser's cache/temp internet files? cached page still seeing. hello all, i have problem while send file our printer (epson stylus pro 7880, network connection). reason, half of page prints out. not matter if send indesign file or pdf, result still half page. don;'t have problem when send illustrator file same printer, prints fine should be, if save illustrator file pdf , send pdf printer, page prints half unknown reason.   please guys me out here. have or had issue. frustrating.   thank much first thing @ page setup in print dialog... since performing recent update, have been unable print pdf files of printers.  instead of getting normal clean, crisp image i've been used to, garbled blotchy mess of large black pixels in rough way present original image.  text comes through okay, black:  colors lost in translation.  if i'm lucky grey.   no problem printing same files using acroreader 9.   i've worked through preferences, print settings, etc. , can't figure causing problem.  other me executing update recently.  yes, dabbled "black point compensation" toggle in color management dialog (preferences), had no effect.   the adobe printer works fine when generating pdfs source documents, when attempt "reprint" pdf using printer, same garble, when using v8 pro.  reader worx fine.   all can figure adobe included switch/toggle in recent update has messed print function.  else suffering or know of solution?   os:  winxp pro sp3 adobe doesn't recommend or sup...

i've setup query connection using ssh. used following standard tcp/ip hostname 127.0.0.1 port 3306 simple enough how setup connection server administration if go setup new connection -i click on "take parameters existing database connection" -after 3 checkmarks in open database, server version , server os -i click next , put ubuntu (mysql package) select mysql type -on next page errors check location of start , stop commands , mysql configuration file (i assume it's checking machine i'm on , not using ssh tunnel) few more details: i'm running ubuntu server 10.04.1 , connecting windows vista machine outside of network. i'm using putty ssh tunnel.
