Issue in AWS_ACTION rawValue

i

my form has 2 routes/buttons:  approve or reject.

if form rejected, must validate entered comments in
the reject field before submitting.

how find value of button selected through
javascript...so can enforce validation?

 

i tried giving alert message @ beginning of script display aws_action value , seems display "approve" both buttons.

the aws_choice seems take first choice value . how resolve ?

it has been while since used these fields here remember.

 

the aws_choice field contains comma delimited list of available actions step. when form loads there code on form ready event of aws_action field parse string , populate action list. if need know selection made woudl have interrogate aws_action field know action chose. expand size of aws_choice field (and set multiline) , shoudl begin see full contents of field.
