Thread: Restore Grub after using fixmbr in windows

i need use fixmbr command fix windows installation. i'd restore grub former state after doing so. have searched how , since configuration differs slightly, i'd rather more specific instructions. right menu.lst looks like:

also, i'm not sure if relevant, when system boots, grub stage 1.5 loads. after booting ubuntu 9.04 server disc, menu options , commands need enter restore grub?
