Annoying issue with URL linking

so have pdf file client ebook full of clickable links bunch of articles posted online.  created in microsoft publisher, , converted pdf.  i'm working on adobe pro trial program on pc, , has adobe reader mac.  on end, none of underlined blue urls clickable, worked fine on side.  ended taking pdf , going through each url , using link tool, punching in url manually, blah blah blah.

well problem have when hover on link box, shows proper url.  click it, , opens browser , says page doesn't exist--reason being url has additional characters.  example, link should going is:

http://fathershelphotline.com/assets/2010-07-16/help-the-man-in-your-life-with-his-fathers -rights-issues.html

but instead, giving me http 404 error because trying go to:

http://fathershelphotline.com/assets/2010%e2%80%9007%e2%80%9016/how%e2%80%90to%e2%80%90hel p-the-man-in-your-life-with-his-fathers-rights-issues.html

i want scream!!!  not sure why keep getting these errors, , want work right!  important file work on version of adobe reader (older, newer, mac, pc) don't have clients complaining files don't work...?

help!!!!!!!

hello,

the pattern i'm seeing "hyphens" located in date string in url issue. possible workaround might convert offending urls tinyurls.

not knowing how many urls involved may not practical solution (even if works), thought i'd throw out there same.
