Thread: XP & ubuntu 10.04 dual boot problem
hi all,i'm very new linux , need help....
i'm running on xp dual boot ubuntu 10.04 on compaq v3000 series. problem couldn't boot ubuntu anymore. happened when i'm update via update manager. during installation process power supply cut off. reboot laptop & couldn't boot 10.04 anymore (xp fine).

you try running fsck ubuntu live disk, may repair problem.
boot live disk , run command:
sudo fsck /dev/sda6
(ensure partition isn't mounted)
