is possible have different looking page style home page in joomla , yet still in same file?

i don't want other pages having same style home page because content different.

1) go administrator
2) go extensions->template manager
3) click on template

look @ box says "menu assignment"

you can assign template menu item article or component view.

set 1 template want home page , others other style want.
